Pamela Coleman Smith
Commemorative Set,
published by U. S. Games Systems Inc.

Wow, what can I say about this Tarot deck set. This is truly a wonder set. It not only includes the deck and two books, The Artwork & Times of Pamela Coleman Smith and The Pictorial Key to the Tarot, it also includes beautiful art work by Pamela Coleman Smith.

Other items included are artwork prints, post cards, a 5” x 7” photo of Pamela Coleman Smith and a Tarot spread guide.

This is a beautiful set, the art work is charming, it is a must for any Tarot collector. This set is presented in a fold out, two sided box. On one side is contained the books and art work and on the other is contained the Tarot deck and a fanciful drawstring bag to carry it in.

The centennial edition commemorative Tarot deck, a reproduction of the original 1909 deck, has a unique essence all its own, however it is very similar to the modern deck most people are familiar with today.

The art work reproductions included in this set are beautiful and the post cards are simply to pretty to mail. This is a truly wonderful look at another side of a very talented artist. The book and reproductions give a view into the stunning skill and talent of a wonderful artist, see the softness and style of Pamela Coleman Smith.

Pamela Coleman Smith’s art work has a classical softness mixed with a whimsical fantasy about it that draws the observer into another world, another bonus included in the book is some of her poetry, a kind of bittersweet melody that gives a gripping insight into Pamela’s life.

This is a wonderful Tarot and book set that includes many astonishing extras, but the most touching thing about the set is the revelations into the personality behind the art.

Fantastical Tarot
Created by Nathalie Hertz
Produced by U.S. Games

Fantastical Tarot by Nathalie Hertz  This Tarot deck does not follow the traditional pattern. It is a  very striking, and somewhat gothic looking deck. This particular deck does have some imagery based on the Rider Waite Tarot, but you would still need to pick up the enclosed booklet to learn how to read it as it doesn’t fully follow the Rider Waite Deck in all cards. The portraits on this deck are crisp and edgy, this is a darker deck. This deck is one that has very many hidden images. This deck has a lot of dark imagery in it. For me it is a  difficult deck to read. It doesn’t have the traditional meaning. This deck would be great for those who seek  more stunning visual and darker deck. This deck is a very unique looking one, sure to draw attention. It explores the darker fantasy of ones mind. There is a lot of hidden symbology to be uncovered with time.  It is a very pretty gold themed deck.  The back of the cards has twin dragons on it. This deck was printed in Italy.

She also has a new deck out, which personally speaks to me alot more than this particular one it is called the Faerie Tarot. Its alot brighter but still her style of art.
Explore the darker fantasy of your mind, and find out what it divines with this Fantastical Tarot Deck!

The Paulina Tarot by: Paulina Cassidy
Published by U.S. Games

This is a wonderful light and airy deck. It has a feeling of exotic fantasy and whimsy all in one. The Paulina Tarot is beautiful and inspiring. But it also has a somewhat deliciously ominous side.

The artwork in this deck is one of my favorites, it is exceedingly intricate and detailed. Perfect for those who love the fairy folk and perhaps for those who like Goth art too.

While it is not strictly a fairy deck it has a fanciful feeling that reminds one of a fairy land. The art work on these cards really makes for an attractive deck that anyone who likes fanciful art will truly enjoy.

The cards are filled with beasts and characters of all sorts. Be sure to inspect each card carefully, I am always finding something new every time I look at them.

This is a very interesting and dynamic deck to be sure, each card is packed with a lot of detail. This deck will fit easily in with any fairy, whimsical or fantasy collection of decks.

This is a very wonderful deck and could easily take several days to several weeks to inspect every card to truly absorb and appreciate the fantastic creatures on each of them.

This is deck is probably a little advanced for the beginner, but even a beginner can take pleasure in the fantastic scenes on the cards.
This wonderland awaits for Alice and you too, be sure to check out this charming deck soon.

The Faerie Tarot Deck by Nathalie Hertz.
Published by U.S. Games

The first thing you will notice about this deck are the vibrant colors that jump out at you like a kaleidoscope. This is a very lively and vivid deck of Tarot cards.

Each card has an interesting scene which pulls the reader in. This might be a deck for a more advanced reader however even the novice will enjoy the artistry and detail on the cards, especially if they are a fantasy or fairy fan.

The instruction booklet that comes with the deck does a good job of explaining the meanings of the cards to those not familiar with decks that do not follow the traditional Rider Waite deck. Included in the back of the booklet are some simple, but useful spreads to get you started.

One thing that really stands out with this booklet is that it gives an excellent description of meaning of the artistry on the cards as well as giving divinatory meanings of the cards as well, with both the upright and reversed significance of each card.

This deck even comes with a large Celtic Cross Spread Sheet to lay the cards out on, with the significance of the positions written out on the sheet (to the side, so it is not covered up by the card, very helpful for the beginner).

Whether starting or rounding out a faerie collection or considering a new deck you will be amazed by the remarkably original and amazing artwork on this deck. It is truly a fantastic and entertaining Tarot deck that will give a great deal of entertainment.

I have to began saying this is my all-time favorite deck. This tarot deck is fun for all ages.  This creative deck, has no scary scenes in it, so it's perfect for teaching or small children.  This lovely deck is a perfect family experience, children and adults alike can pick up the deck and read it.  If you know your fairy tales, then you'll have no problem at all with this tarot deck.  Explore the tarot as you have never explored before, and a fun filled, lighthearted environment.

This tarot deck is great for the novice and expert alike. My 6 year old son loves learning this Tarot deck, and going over the storys on the cards. It is great to have a  Tarot Deck that I am able to share with him and explore it with him together~

It's bold, bright artistry, is sure to grab your attention, and bring delight to all ages.

Go on a magical journey, much as the journey of life itself.  Not only does this tarot deck have the symbology of the tarot, it also teaches valuable life lessons.  Many things will stand out on the deck, and give you a whole new meaning to each card.  The visuals are absolutely stunning.

From the fool at the start of the journey, represented as a scarecrow about to go over the edge in the Wizard of Oz, to the world, shown as Glinda the good witch, you sure to experience the many phases of the journey, bringing you full  circle around to the beginning again.

The characters in this tarot deck, and the stories associated with them, are sure to help you on your life journey.  Whether you're trying to find out if you should take a stand, and you draw a card such as briar rabbit and the tar baby, not only does it tell you that the cause is futile, and also in a very humorous way explains why. Such as the tar baby plan could never work, because briar and a gun in his hand stuck in the middle of it, thought he had it all planned out, but forgot such an important vital element.

You're sure to find a whole new world of the tarot opened up to you, with this deck. A world of such fun, you will be delighted every time you open it. I'm so glad  USGamesINC brought this deck back. It is truly a deck worth resurrection. Make sure you add this to your professional and your private collection~ You won't be disappointed~

While containing the customary 78 cards of the Tarot, this deck is unique unto itself. It has somewhat different symbolic meanings than the traditional Tarot and you will definitely want to consult the little book that comes with the deck as to the interpretations of the cards. The instruction booklet is very informative and fascinating in regards to the meanings and definitions of the cards in this deck.

This deck is an eclectic compilation of the diverse and wonderful lore of several of the Native American tribes. It includes symbolism and imagery from several of the tribes such as the Apache to the Sioux and many more. The art work on the cards is also another unique aspect of this deck. The Vampire Tarot, by Nathalie Hertz.
 Published by U.S. Games

This is a interesting and intense deck with a French influence. It is rather dark and threatening, a great deck to impress you friends with. The artwork is deliciously frightening and ominous. This is a great deck for the collector of the macabre, gothic and vampire enthusiasts.

The pictures on the cards are sinister and dreamlike, or should I say nightmarish in their appearance. Frighteningly gloomy and morbid in design. This deck would be great for Halloween gatherings and those interested in revealing the hidden messages from beyond this mortal realm.

The entire 78 cards of the Tarot are represented with this deck, it comes with an instruction booklet which gives the meanings of the cards and some classic Tarot spreads for communicating with the cards. So if you are courageous enough, if you are daring and do not mind risking your neck, take a journey with The Fool through this nightmarish realm in which the undead rule, and if you are lucky enough you might return with your soul unscathed.

This is a really spectacular Tarot deck. The art work is amazing. If you are a fan of fantasy, the moon, horror or just plain out of the ordinary decks then this deck is for you. This is a 78 card Tarot deck that comes with a custom spread sheet and an instruction booklet.
Patrick Valenza’s artwork is like a walk in a bizarre fantasy land. The artwork is terrific and while a little on the macabre side it really stands out to make this deck a one of a kind for either the reader or collector.
The custom Tarot card spread sheet folds out to 17” x 20” and is adorned with more of the mesmerizing artwork that makes this Tarot set so awesome, it illustrates a ten card Tarot spread known as “The Lunatic Spread” that will help illuminate your innermost longings and darkest desires.

The artistry on the cards is an eerie mix of ghoulish apparitions that are part fantasy and part nightmare. The cards show a path of horrors leading through a kingdom of nightmares, the outlandish visions depicted on the cards are impishly delightful in their foreboding forms.
This Truly original artwork helps bring the inhabitants of the Tarot to life in Valenza’s vision of a twisted representation of the Fool’s journey, to help guide you through your dark journey to a devilishly sweet end indeed.

Morgans Tarot
published by U. S. Games Systems Inc. Created by Morgan Robbins and illustrated by Darshan Chorpash.

While this is called a Tarot deck, that might be a bit of a misnomer, it contains 88 cards while a traditional Tarot deck contains only 78 cards.

This deck gives insight to life’s questions by giving you unique symbols designed to help develop your consciousness.

This unique and fascinating deck was originally designed in 1970 and was heavily influenced by the “counterculture” of that time.

The pictures in this deck are simple line drawings and are in black and white, however do not let this fool you, the cards in this deck give a feeling of surreal-ness that few other decks have.

Included in this set are 88 oracle cards and a instruction booklet. The booklet gives instructions on how to use these wonderful cards and also fortunately gives some guidelines and definitions as to the meanings of the cards also.

While this certainly not a deck for someone wanting to learn traditional Tarot, it is a wonderful deck to begin a journey inward and explore the unlimited reaches of the consciousness. This is a “groovy” deck to add to the collection of someone looking for diverse or retro decks.
